TUCOWS, 1998-2000
• Ran one
of the largest shareware collections sites on the Web.
The Macintosh site of TUCOWS tracked and rated more than
500 programs. Wrote and produced a bi-monthly column
examining the latest Macintosh software on the web.
Design and Technology Manager
The Flint Journal - Flint, Michigan, 1997-1999
• Evaluated new technologies as
they applied to newspaper publishing, including Internet
and intranet technologies. In charge of interfacing new
pagination system into the work flow of the editorial
department, and training staff to use it.
Graphics Editor
The Flint Journal - Flint, Michigan, 1994-1997
• Responsible for the overall
design of the newspaper. Managed a staff of six designers.
Editorial systems leader, in charge of all editorial
pagination, including software and hardware.
Photo/Graphics Editor
The Bay City Times - Bay City, Michigan, 1989-1994
• In charge of the newspaper's
redesign, as well as designing and coordinating special
sections. Macintosh systems and software leader. Electronic
picture desk coordinator. Oversaw a staff of four photographers
and one graphic artist. One of eight Macintosh software
support persons for the Booth Newspaper Group in Michigan.

The Saginaw News - Saginaw, Michigan, 1988-1989
• Oversaw daily operation of the photo and
graphics departments; supervised a staff of four full-time and four part-time
photographers. Designed special photo pages. Graphics consultant for
editorial department and liaison with art department.
